Positive Upticks Throughout Central Oregon


In the first quarter of 2014 (January through March), Bend Oregon real estate showed a nice uptick year-over-year. The statistics for residential homes with less than an acre in Bend demonstrate a 2.4 percent increase in the number of total homes sold, an 8.7 percent increase in the average sales price of homes sold and a 0.8 percent decrease in the average days on market. In addition, this comparison demonstrates a 64.7 percent decrease in the number of short sales and a 37.5 percent decrease in the number of bank owned sales.

Townhome and condo real estate sales in Bend jumped 22.0 percent, the average sales price increased 6.7 percent, and the days on market decreased 27.9 percent.
