The Annual Monster Dash 5K, 10K and Little Monster’s Mile is Saturday the 29th at 9 a.m. at Highland Elementary School. Our goal is to get 500 participants, to come out and run, walk, jog, or stroll. We welcome all paces and ages.
Kids Corner – featuring Face painting, games, candy and lots of fun!
Join us Saturday, October 29th for the Brasada Ranch Fall Festival and enjoy our pumpkin patch and decorating station, hay rides, delicious fall inspired bites, live music by Justin Lavik, special kids’ activities, and more. Bring the family and celebrate the fall season at The Ranch. This event is open to the public.
Throughout the day there will be many Fall themed activities and games children and families can participate in, from bobbling for apples and playing pumpkin tic tac toe for a prize, to face painting and hopping in our photobooth.

Throughout the event there will be Fall themed treats available for purchase such as hot cocoa, apple cider, caramel apples, popcorn, corn on the cob, chili, cornbread, homemade corndogs, housemade pretzels, and our specialty housemade s’mores.
Ranch House Restaurant will also be serving up a la carte lunch, and dinner items, along with a special happy hour with drink specials throughout the event.
Children are encouraged to come to the Brasada Ranch Fall Festival in their favorite costumes to enter our costume contest! Judges will choose their top three favorites to win, and all children will be awarded a special prize for participating. The contest will begin at 12:30pm, and our winners will be announced at 1:00pm.
Bring your kids in costumes to the Old Mill District for trick-or-treating in each of the Old Mill District stores and restaurants. Hay rides by cowboy carriage, pet costume contest and crafts with the Bend Park & Recreation District are all on the agenda as well.
Our walking tour of Downtown Bend visits locally and family owned coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, food carts, shops, breweries and more. You get to sip, sample and stroll your way through the tour and meet and talk with some of the owners and learn firsthand what makes these gastronomic stars so special. We feature locations that serve up locally procured food – food from our area!
The Half Marathon event is the season finale of the Happy Girls Run Series. Racers will enjoy friendly competition, fun prizes, cocktails and more in beautiful Sisters, OR on Sunday, Nov 5th. Half-marathon finishers will receive a western style belt buckle and fabulous gift bag with specialty items.
Half-marathon racers wind through the mainly single-track dirt trails, rolling hills and forested areas of the Peterson Ridge system outside of Sisters, OR. The Happy Girl Sisters race is an “express,” meaning racers enjoy a mostly downhill race. Get your best trail-run time yet! The 5K meanders through the beautiful town of Sisters. This is a USA Track and Field sanctioned event. The half-marathon registration is limited to 500 participants by the Sisters Ranger District so register soon, this event will sell out quickly!
