A relay race with six legs that include alpine skiing/snowboarding, cross-country skiing, biking, running, canoe/kayaking and sprinting to the finish! You can do it all yourself or be part of team (or pair).
Modeled after highly successful programs like the, “Extreme Mustang Makeover” and “100 Days of training for Off the Track Thoroughbreds”, Rescue Revolution took form. Highly talented professional trainers, citizen horse trainers and youth assistants are stepping forward to provide highest levels of care and training for approximately 18 rescued horses for up to maximum of 180 days.
The culminating event will be held at Rim Rock Riders Arena at Brasada Ranch, on May 30th and 31st, 2015. The competition throughout the day with a Freestyle Finale to be performed by the the winners of the divisions. at 6pm on Saturday. This will be followed by a final contestant showcase. Horses will be available for adoption by competitive bid.

The longest consecutively run elite stage race in the country has attracted most of North America’s top cyclists and teams over the years. The quality of the race courses, the beauty of Central Oregon and the fun atmosphere of the race has made it a perennial favorite and has the competitors and spectators returning year after year.
The Sisters Folk Festival is a three-day celebration of American roots music. Many greats have graced the stage since the initial Festival in 1995, including Ian Tyson, Tim O’Brien, Jesse Winchester, Natalie MacMaster, Chris Smither, Dave Carter, The Waybacks, John Gorka, Ruthie Foster, The Waifs, The Wailin’ Jennys and more. The Festival covers seven stages, and includes workshops, the Dave Carter Memorial Song Writing Contest and performances by internationally recognized artists and the best of up-and-coming talent in folk, blues, bluegrass, and all genres in between.
