May – July 2016
Our walking tour of Downtown Bend visits locally and family owned coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, food carts, shops, breweries and more. You get to sip, sample and stroll your way through the tour and meet and talk with some of the owners and learn firsthand what makes these gastronomic stars so special. We feature locations that serve up locally procured food – food from our area!
Athletes ages 50 and older can compete in one of the sixteen sports offered. It’s a great chance to test your mettle against other seniors while enjoying a getaway to the outdoor playground of the West. Whether you’re a super-competitive athlete, or just someone looking to stay active, the Oregon Senior Games is a great event to add to your bucket list.
This is our fifth year holding this tournament and the weather has been awesome every year! We will be utilizing three very nice complexes for the tournament. The Beer Run finishes at the intersection of Bond St. and Franklin Ave. in the heart of the Bite of Bend festival, under an inflatable arch. Finishers are greeted with – you guessed it – another beer! We sell out, so sign up right away! Registration increases on race day so get in early and spend the savings on a couple beers instead!
