Central Oregon has one of the largest per-capita number of breweries of any region around, so it’s only natural the region have a Central Oregon Beer Week, a week-long celebration of Bend and Central Oregon’s amazing beer culture! Modeled after highly successful programs like the, “Extreme Mustang Makeover” and “100 Days of training for Off the Track Thoroughbreds”, Rescue Revolution took form. Highly talented professional trainers, citizen horse trainers and youth assistants are stepping forward to provide highest levels of care and training for approximately 18 rescued horses for up to maximum of 180 days.

The culminating event will be held at Rim Rock Riders Arena at Brasada Ranch,  on May 30th and 31st, 2015. The competition throughout the day with a Freestyle Finale to be performed by the the winners of the divisions. at 6pm on Saturday. This will be followed by a final contestant showcase. Horses will be available for adoption by competitive bid.

The Fermentation Celebration is a nod to the amazing craft beer industry in Central Oregon. Not only do the 29 local breweries have a tremendous economic impact on the community, but they produce some of the best craft beer and cider in the world.

To enjoy the event, purchase a pint glass and tickets, and meander through all 29 beer stations located throughout Powerhouse Drive in the Old Mill District (immediately across the river from the Les Schwab Amphitheater). At each station you choose to visit, you can purchase a 4 ounce taste (1 taste = 1 ticket). Full pint pours from Deschutes Brewery will be available in Center Plaza.

There will be live music and performances from a variety of local bands/groups throughout the event, as well as Central Oregon Beer Angels, the Central Oregon Brewer’s Guild, Central Oregon Homebrewers Association, Visit Bend and more.

The Fermentation Celebration is a family and pet-friendly event, but please note, it is centered around beer.

The Northwest Professional Rodeo Association is the western United States largest regional rodeo organization. It annually sanctions over 40 rodeos throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada and California. Its membership continues to grow and represents the finest caliber of rodeo athletes in the country! The NPRA rodeo season begins in October with a few indoor rodeos through the winter months, increases to a “multiple rodeos per weekend” schedule through the summer months, and climaxes in September at the Championship Finals. The NPRA is proud of the opportunity it provides for rodeo athletes to compete at the professional level while remaining close to home, families, and weekday jobs.
