July – August 2013
The Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival presented by PacificSource is the largest family festival and Central Oregon, and one of the most beautiful events Bend offers. The festival brings families, visitors and businesses together in a community celebration that has something for every generation and demographic to enjoy.
Enjoy the picturesque balloon launches on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, and watch as balloons take flight at sunrise. On Friday night, festival-goers are invited to experience NightGlow, when each balloon is lit up at dusk. The Children’s Festival runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-2pm on Sunday with over 60 activities including bouncy houses, face painting, crafts and educational opportunities.
This special Member’s Only evening has the course covered in glow sticks and players laughing and enjoying the Brasada Canyon’s Golf Course under a full moon. With our semi-warm summer nights, this event has been a hit year after year as the stars and moon are spectacular!
