The Sisters Folk Festival is a three-day celebration of American roots music, from blues to bluegrass. Many greats have graced the stage since the initial Festival in 1995, including Ian Tyson, Tim O’Brien, Jesse Winchester, Natalie MacMaster, Chris Smither, Dave Carter, The Waybacks, John Gorka, Ruthie Foster, The Waifs, The Wailin’ Jennys and more. The Festival is home to six stages, with our main venue at the Village Green Park in downtown Sisters.
KC Flynn is an acoustic folk/rock/country guitarist and vocalist from Bend, OR. For the last 20 years, he has been pinckin’ and grinnin’ in the Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles, CA, Tucson, AZ, Lake Tahoe, and Nashville, TN. His voice can be heard on iTunes, as well as several compilation albums and TV and Radio commercials. In 2005 he opened for Randy Travis and was named “Central Oregon’s Favorite Musician.” He lives with his wife and two children in Bend and performs around 100 solo gigs per year, is a studio vocalist, and works as a bartender at Worthy Brewing Company.

Kim Kelley is this month’s featured performer her original songwriting, musical scores, and the poetry of her lyrics capture the essence of the human spirit and will touch your heart. Kim’s rich, country-influenced folksy vocal style is reminiscent of a head-on collision between the old and the new. Join us for great tunes, drinks and our fabulous Ranch House cuisine. Complimentary. Open to public.
Spending Thanksgiving at Brasada Ranch means you don’t miss your favorite game. Tune into the Packers vs. the Lions, the Raiders vs. the Cowboys and the Steelers vs. the Ravens in The Ranch House Library. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with beer on tap and food specials, you’ll never have to peel yourself away from the screen. Stay all day or drop in whenever you like, football fans enjoy complimentary viewing.
Standing over 20 feet tall, The Ranch’s Christmas tree is a magical sight. Join us as we enjoy Christmas festivities including an appearance by Santa Claus, carolers singing and just inside Ranch House, enjoy warm drinks for children and adults, and a hear a story read by Santa in the Library. This special event is complimentary to all, we look forward to getting into the Christmas spirit with you.
Mosey on over to The Ranch House and meet the horses, ready and waiting to take you on a festive mid-morning carriage ride around the property. Grab a seat on the carriage and don’t forget to bring a camera to snap photos along the way. Enjoy the sunny, wintery views from one of the best seats in the house this time of year. Carriage rides are complimentary for all guests.
Santa Claus is making a special trip to The Ranch and while he is here, our younger guests, 11 and under, can join him for a complimentary breakfast in The Ranch House. Come on down and help Santa check his list. And don’t forget to ask your parents to bring their cameras. Visits with Santa are complimentary for all ages.
