Central Oregon has one of the largest per-capita number of breweries of any region around, so it’s only natural the region have a Central Oregon Beer Week, a week-long celebration of Bend and Central Oregon’s amazing beer culture! The final details for the week are being prepared and will be published soon.
The Fermentation Celebration is a nod to the amazing craft beer industry in Central Oregon. Not only do the 29 local breweries have a tremendous economic impact on the community, but they produce some of the best craft beer and cider in the world.
To enjoy the event, purchase a pint glass and tickets, and meander through all 29 beer stations located throughout Powerhouse Drive in the Old Mill District (immediately across the river from the Les Schwab Amphitheater). At each station you choose to visit, you can purchase a 4 ounce taste (1 taste = 1 ticket). Full pint pours from Deschutes Brewery will be available in Center Plaza.
There will be live music and performances from a variety of local bands/groups throughout the event, as well as Central Oregon Beer Angels, the Central Oregon Brewer’s Guild, Central Oregon Homebrewers Association, Visit Bend and more.
The Fermentation Celebration is a family and pet-friendly event, but please note, it is centered around beer.
Bring your families out to The Ranch to celebrate Independence Week. Live music, plenty of family activities, the Brasada Country Fair, and Chef Ryan’s signature BBQ will make this an Independence Day weekend to remember. More information to come soon
