Your question:
I hear it is possible to ski Mt. Bachelor and play Brasada Canyons in the same day. Is that true?

You bet. Our course is open year round. It is not unusual at all for Mt. Bachelor to have epic snow conditions and for it to be sunny and clear at Brasada Ranch. With Mt. Bachelor being only 42 miles from Brasada it is not unusual for people to get up and get in some great runs in the morning and come back for a round of golf in the afternoon.

I hear the course is open year round yet all the other courses in Bend close down. How is it possible then that you are open year round?

Brasada Ranch is 16 miles from Bend across the high desert. We have a different micro-climate here. There are plenty of days each winter where Bend is getting snow and it is sunny here. When it does snow here it is not unusual for the snow to melt off within hours. The only other course in the region to remain open year round is Eagle Crest’s Ridge Course.

I will be playing at Brasada Ranch in a few weeks. What amenities are provided in the Club House locker rooms?

Your experience starts with  our locker room attendant, who will be happy to shine your shoes and provide any assistance you might need. When you play at Brasada Canyons you have full use of our locker room, lockers, shower, steam room and player’s lounge.

Before or after your round, or during the turn, you will enjoy great food and drinks at Outpost.

After your round you are free to enjoy our pool and hot tub, which is reserved for members, golfers, and spa patrons. You can also enjoy the best views in Central Oregon at our outdoor patio and if you are still feeling like some friendly competition after the round enjoy our Bocce court.

Once you’re done, the golf shop is right next door to Spa Brasada. This is a great chance to unwind with the Golfer’s Delight Spa service.

What is the trestle bridge in the photos of the 18th hole?

The trestle is a part of Central Oregon history. When Brasada was still a working ranch the trestle was part of an irrigation flume that helped bring water to the Powell Butte area. The trestle now serves as a cart path taking players back to the golf shop from the 18th hole.

I am not staying at the resort, but I would like to play the course, is this possible?

Unfortunately it is not. Play on our course is reserved for our members and resort guests. To check out our lodging specials, including some great deals on golf, click here.
