Our golf pros aren't inclined to hang around the clubhouse. Dan and Zach want to be out on the incredible Bend Oregon golf course as much as you do, and if they aren't working one-on-one with a member or guest, you'll see them out on the course or the practicing range, offering up free tips and making new friends at the same time.
Zach Swoffer, Director of Golf
Zach Swoffer has 20 years experience in the golf world. Born and raised in the rolling high desert hills of Spokane, Washington, he got his first introduction into golf working at Manito Country Club. After graduating from Washington State University with a Hotel Restaurant Administration degree, Zach was given an opportunity to caddy at the Coeur d'Alene Resort for three years, eventually becoming their Tournament Director and a member of the PGA of America. A talented teacher as well as golfer, Zach's skill is seeing what strengths already exist in a golfer's swing and helping the golfer learn to capitalize on them. He believes in focusing on the basics-grip, stance and posture. Zach's philosophy is to adopt two main goals per lesson and really concentrate, ensuring that a skill is truly mastered and adopted.
Daniel Wendt, Head Golf Professional
Born and raised in Arizona, Daniel Wendt began playing golf at the age of five. As a freshman in high school, he was chosen as player of the year for the state of Arizona in the 5A classification. Since then, he has tucked many tours under his belt, including Gateway and Spanos, playing on the PGA tour for three years. Daniel moved to Central Oregon in 2005 to help with the process of building the Brasada Canyons golf course. As a coach, Daniel is an advocate of the one-plane swing, though he's always open to working with other styles. Daniel loves to teach golfers of all ages and abilities.
