Pet-Friendly Lodging in Bend Oregon

Bend, Oregon was named "Dog Town USA" by Dog Fancy magazine with good reason—Bend has one of the highest per capita dog populations anywhere in the world. Nearly 50% of Central Oregon residents own a dog, and Bend boasts more than 51 miles of urban trails, including 13 designated off-leash areas.

Here at Brasada Ranch, we absolutely love our pets and welcome dogs on property. During your stay, we invite you to enjoy the many walking paths, miles of soft trails and panoramic views with your pet. The pet-friendly two, three and four-bedroom Sage Canyon and Cascade Cabins come with a few extra treats for your furry friend, too. Simply inquire when making your reservation.

Pet Policy

In order to keep our pet-friendly Sage Canyon and Cascade Cabins in top shape, there is a non-refundable $25 cleaning fee per day, per pet. A maximum of two pets are permitted per cabin rental. Pet-friendly accommodations are limited to the canine variety at this time.

Dog Town USA

Bend offers a plethora of pet-friendly businesses, events and outdoor recreation. Check out Bend's Urban Trails Map or let you dog run free on many popular off-leash Cascade Lakes Highway trails.

Pet-Friendly Recreation

When it comes to pet-friendly recreation in Bend Oregon, there are year-round options for you and your pup to get outdoors. Bend-based animal outfitter, Ruff Wear, offers doggie flotation devices for safe canoe and kayak trips for our furry friends in spring and summer. Wanoga and Edison Sno-Parks and Tumalo Falls, offer miles of pet-friendly cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. Grab a leash and head out to Smith Rock State Park, just 20 minutes from The Ranch, to experience one of "Oregon's 7 Wonders" (Travel Oregon) with your pet, and enjoy year-round access to a variety of hiking trails and sightseeing from every angle.

Pet-Friendly Events

There are enough dog events in Bend that it is possible to plan an entire vacation around your pet. If you're lucky enough to visit The Ranch over Independence Week, we recommend the annual 4th of July Pet Parade and Festival in downtown Bend. On August 16th, head out to cowboy country to participate in the Sisters Doggie Dash, including pet entertainment, pet product vendors, and a 5k walk/run, with or without your pet. On September 19th and 20th, the Wiener Dog Races during Bend's Oktoberfest is not to be missed.
