Q: How can I play the course if I’m not a Club member?
A: The private Brasada Canyons Golf Course is a principle amenity of the private, non-equity, Club at Brasada Ranch. To have access to the course, you must be a golf member, guest of a member, or guest of the lodging vacation rental program.
Q: Are golf memberships available to non-property owners?
A: No, you must be a Brasada Ranch property owner and approved for membership in the Club.
Q: What is the elevation of Brasada Ranch?
A: The ranch headquarter complex, where The Ranch House and Discovery Center are located, is 3,282 feet above sea level. For reference, Bend is 4,268 feet above sea level.
Q: What is the course length?
A: From the back Golf Tees, the distance is 7,295 yards, 6,680 from Black, 5,989 from the Bronze, 5,409 Silver, and 4,722 from the Copper Tees.
Q: Can we walk the course?
A: The course can be walked, and Riksha push carts are available at the Golf Shop. However, electric E-Z Go carts are included in the rates, and are recommended for pace of play. In the 18 holes of play, there is over 1,000 feet of elevation changes, mostly noted from green-to-tee between holes. If you walk the course, you will have traveled about 7 miles.
Q: Do you have a reciprocal arrangement with other private clubs?
A: Yes, contact your club professional who will arrange for availability and tee times.
Q: Do you have rental clubs?
A: Yes, we’re proud to offer Callaway woods and fairway irons, and Odyssey putters for our rental sets. Rental rate is $45 per 18-hole round. The rentals are available at the Golf Shop.
Q: Who designed the Brasada Canyons Golf Course?
A: The golf course architect team consisted of touring PGA Professional, Peter Jacobsen, and his design partner, Jim Hardy.
Q: What type of grass are we playing on?
A: The greens are A-4 Bent Grass (modified USGA; pure sand). The tees, fairways and rough are a combination of 80% Blue Grass and 20% Rye.
