You can catch a glimpse of over 90 types of feathered friends on our expansive grounds, including great horned owls, peregrine falcons, and rufous hummingbirds. Lush with picturesque wildflowers and juniper trees, the rolling hills and mountains are where elk, deer, coyotes, and bobcats roam freely.
The area provides novice and seasoned explorers with plenty of opportunities to discover known and new terrains. Take the two-mile loop hike in Pilot Butte state park, a walk in the lava river caves, or an exhilarating trek up to Mount Bachelor’s summit.
